I was playing around with this method and my column avgfin6 shows a negative value on many dogs. I looked in my the folder for columns and avefin6 is not listed nor is it in the above zip file to download. Is it posted somewhere else or you gave it to us previously?

As for me, most of my wagers are pre-bets. I try to take an hour or so in the morning
and decide which races to play and how to handicap them. Very rarely do I get the
opportunity to look at odds 2 mins, 3 mins or 5 mins before a race. Usually when I
start to do that I get interrupted at work.

Its been my experience that adding more dogs is rarely, if ever, a good idea.

I really think 48% would be profitable with many wagers if done correctly. For this particular strategy? That remains to be seen.

I have not been tracking the figures as deep as you have but what
I have found is this:

Since Sunday 8/23, not including 301s & 1st half of twin races—using the
top 4 dogs in my speed column only, I would have had 27 out of 56 races won.
That’s 48% of the races.
On 8/25, I had 75% wins…[Read more]

Looks like 40% might be the magic number. THat or higher I think.
