Experiment: All Columns As Speed Ratings

The one thing I have always liked about horses is they have ratings that can be compared apples to apples. For dogs you can compare break, 8th, stretch, and finish on the same level. They run on a scale from 1 to 8. But class doesn’t. And neither does speed. And since we are so comfortable with speed, what if we could convert the other columns into speed columns that ran on the same scale as the speed?
So that is the sheet I have created. You can watch the video and I’m attaching the spreadsheet, and columns and methods in a zip file if you would like to try them out. I’ll be tracking it some. Yesterday was really the first day it was used on a card and it was pretty decent I thought. But one day means nothing in this game as you all well know.
