Sarasota Track Bias

Nice start for a Monday. I was looking at race 1 @ the Sarasota track. My main bet was the 6 dog then I looked at the totals for the race and saw no one betting on the 7 or 8 dogs. About 1 minute before the race I decided to put a $2 on both dogs to win since I knew the outside dogs @ Sarasota have a bit of an advantage. Then BAM the 7 dog wins & went off at 58-1 odds. So a quick $118 in my account first thing on Monday.

You must have gotten almost the entire pool. That’s a great lesson though man. You look for opportunities. It’s good to have a plan, have your stats and your picks and everything else ready. Why? Because a person with a plan always does better than a person without one.

But

Part of the plan has to be looking for opportunities. Imagine everyone else that is betting just sticking to their sheets and never looking at opportunities. Everytime you can spot one it is almost like free money over the long run.

Doesn’t mean you will be right every time. But at 58-1 you can be wrong 58 times before you are a loser. I’d say the odds are on your side in that instace!
