I can usually tell who will be successful and who won’t. The players that embrace this part of the training always become successful. How long it takes them may vary. But eventually they ‘get it’ and start playing well. Math and keeping records is boring. It’s not fun. But if you want to get better as a player you have to know EVERY play you have ever made, why you made it and what happened. Then you have to always be reviewing those plays, tweaking them in the future and….wash, rinse, repeat.
